Lava lamp experiment
We did a lava lamp experiment in class. I learnt that water and oil do not mix. The disprin tablet made cardon dioxide gas.

How we inflated a balloon

To do this experiment we needed:

First we put vinegar into the empty bottle.
Next we used a paper funnel to put the baking soda inside the balloon.
Then we put the balloon on the mouth of the bottle.
Next we shook all of the baking soda out of the balloon into the bottle.
Then there was a chemical reaction, a gas called carbon dioxide filled the balloon up.
To do this experiment we needed:
- Paper funnel
- Bottle
- Balloon
- Spoon
- Vinegar
- Baking soda
